Drawing in a Book

Not a new book, though maybe, later...
None-the-less, a great way to exercise freedom of expression.
It's a book and crayons...great fun!
Reckon the best way for me to start is to put a sample of all the colors down on paper with their names. Last time I bought, there were 98 crayons and a half dozen new ones.
This time there were 120 colors and I didn't even recognize some of the green names.
I also have some serious crayons... the kind thet aren't safe for kids to play with.

this last one I studied at the Hobbe's Skool of Art (Bill Watterson) Cartoon Book...

Old Scotland Church up on 400 South in Clinton County.
This is about what I wanted, but, it doesn't show the graveyard very well.
Neither does the painting...

I'm thinking a nice still-life near the firestove would be good...

what a great idea! i love your book drawings! and you know the gesture quality of your drawings is great. i've told you that before.
and i think it's an absolute hoot that you are drawing in who's who of american women ..

I know one of the gals in it...and have marked it so that I don't actually go over her name and into.
Thanx, Jack!
